“Books fall open, you fall in.” ― David McCord
Have you read a good book lately? Know what makes that experience even better...?
...When you give it to someone else to read for their enjoyment and enrichment!
Last week we told you about the new video library we are assembling. This week we want to inform you that Deed and Truth is also partnering to create a couple new libraries… one at Hope Gardens for mothers and children plus another one for the men at the Union Rescue Mission in the Discipleship Program.
We are creating new Libraries at both locations. Now the new space needs books for the bookshelves. We are collecting good children’s books as well as books for adults.
There are plans in the works to start a book club where the guests can check out a book they are interested in reading then get back together each month to share what they liked and learned from the book to recommend to each other.
If you have books you’d like to donate or maybe you’d like to join the book club and come up to participate once a month in the new Deed & Truth Book club. Either way you may contact me directly at this email… firstname.lastname@example.org.
